Traditional TKD
By now a few
students have had all their modules signed off and have advanced to
their next grade, great effort!
Some students still have a few modules to pass, keep practicing so soon
you will be good enough to pass and move up in your belt rank.
As was explained after the last grading the normal grading fee will be
rolled into the traditional training fee,
Starting from Monday the
10/09/07
Traditional training will be $10 per lesson.
Traditional Training cards per person will be 10 lessons for $95
Traditional Family cards (3 or more) will be 10 lessons for $90
All other
lessons remain the same price.
Leadership Program
To improve
the quality of each lesson I have introduced a leader ship program that
encourages high grade students to assist in running lower grade classes,
thus giving higher ranked students opportunities to improve on their
teaching ability whilst giving lower ranked students more one on one
opportunities to fast track their Taekwondo skills.
Students selected for this program will be required to assist in the
running of classes when these students have assisted for 50 lessons they
will receive a “HTA leader” badge, then from these students the
ones that have attained a level 1 NCAS TKD coaching certificate and a
first aid certificate will be assessed and if successful will receive a
“HTA Instructor” badge.
Ninja’s
With the
ninja’s running on both Monday’s & Wednesdays has meant the size of the
class’s are more manageable, these kids are showing plenty of potential
and some are now starting to step up into the traditional white belt
class and are adapting well, leaders are encouraged to come along to
ninja classes and gain more experience.
Fighting Fit
With warmer weather on the way the numbers are starting to climb again,
this class is consistently worked hard with plenty of success stories
coming from it, Wednesday Morning Fitness class has plenty of room, so
if you would like to improve your fitness why not give it ago, starts
9.15am-10.15am.
New Web Page
We now
have a new web page, thanks to Ian Altman from Computing Concepts, he
has done a great job on the site
www.haktari.com
we will be able to build on it now with photos and stories from our
club, if any one has a suggestion for the site have a chat to Jeff.
With the site
also comes the opportunity for club members to get an email address,
forms for the email addresses are on the counter at training.
One of the
ideas for the web page is a “student of the Month” profile; we will get
this going ASAP
